Happy Tuesday! This morning we served in the village of Montecristi. Morale was good and clinic was running smoothly for the first few hours. We saw over 45 patients in the morning before we had to unexpectedly return to SCORE because of weather. If we hadn’t returned when we did, traveling back to SCORE would have been difficult with the wind and rain. Although we didn’t see everyone who wanted to be seen, we were grateful to serve the patients we saw. In the afternoon, we visited a nursing home in a nearby town that’s associated with SCORE. We were only there a short time, but were able to pray for and love on the residents. It was a delight.

Some ‘wins’ from the day:

• there was a tangibly joyful atmosphere at the church we hosted clinic in.
• some students had the opportunity to read the Jesus storybook Bible to a young girl while her mom was seen.
• we saw a patient who was in a recent motor vehicle crash and got to hear his story. He had such joy in sharing his testimony with us and you could tell he was full of the Spirit.
• We talked to a man in the nursing home about his wife and Jesus.

We’re excited for a full clinic day tomorrow!
