Today we traveled to the town of el seibo and hosted our first clinic, serving 99 patients. It was a busy clinic day and we were all surprised by how many adults, children, and families we were able to see. Praise God! 

Typically, we stop for a lunch break but there was an abundance of patients waiting to be seen. The team ate lunch in shifts and we were able to see more patients, as a result. Students rotated stations for the second half of the day. 

Upon arriving back at Score, we ate dinner and met as a team to recap the day. 

– One student shared the story of a man who came to clinic having experienced a stroke a few months ago. At the evangelism station, he shared that following the stroke he accepted Christ and said he is never going back.

– One student met a young girl at the evangelism station who went on to participate alongside them for other patients to hear the good news.

– We saw a young patient with a blistering skin condition that we had learned about a week prior, and were able to tangibly send her home with the proper treatment.

After recapping the day, we met in small groups once again. It was a time to reflect and share more personally about our experiences from the day. We are thankful for the Lord’s provision over us today, and are expectant for all He will do tomorrow.
