Hi all!

The team had the wonderful opportunity to go to church in El Peñon this morning to worship with the local body of believers! It was a chance to connect with locals and rejoice in the Gospel through prayer, song, and dancing with kids, and to see the way that God is working in this country. We heard about the new commandment Jesus gave in John 13 to love one another while being loved by and loving on the people here. After that, we learned more about the flow of the clinic that we are so excited to start tomorrow! All the supply suitcases were organized in record time (girls do it best), we learned how to set up and break down the chairs we’ll be using, then we got to walk over to the beach to get some sun, relax, and grow closer in community with one another. Then it was time for some worship, devotionals, and sharing testimonies in small groups, which was a chance to learn more about each other’s walks with God that led us here. We are thrilled to get to work tomorrow healing people’s dental ailments, praying for their physical and spiritual needs, and sharing the good news of Jesus with them! We love each of you and covet your prayers throughout the rest of the week.
